Construction wrapped this spring on a 295,000-square-foot health-care center in Charlotte that serves veterans.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs opened its outpatient center in April after a 24-month building process.  The six-story building sits on 35 acres at West Tyvola Road and Cascade Pointe Boulevard, located near Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
