The 330,000 square foot cold storage facility was developed for Coastal Sunbelt as the company’s new American headquarters. The facility is 80% refrigerated and combines multiple divisions of the company. The property is utilized by Coastal Sunbelt as a distribution center for fresh, high-quality fruits and vegetables. It is also home to their Fresh Cuts division which processes whole fruits into ready-to-eat chopped products. As a $45M investment, the state-of-the-art development facilitates fresh salsa and guacamole production in a USDA clean environment which has catapulted Coastal Sunbelt into the dominant market position in the mid-Atlantic.
